6 February 2025, Bangkok – Research & Innovation Center for Sustainability (RISC) by MQDC, the property developer within DTGO, is helping tackle Thailand's current air pollution with its "FahSai Mini".
The air purifier is smaller than other versions of RISC's FahSai but can still filter toxic particles efficiently, reducing dust by up to 60%.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singh Intrachooto, Chief Innovation Officer of RISC, said that high-speed blades draw air into the system. A jet venturi scrubber then removes the dust.
FahSai air purifier towers have been installed in key areas since 2020. They reduce dust at True Digital Park by up to 50% and at the University of Phayao by 40%.
"The research center is moving ahead with developing new models from FahSai 1, FahSai 2, and Fresh One to help sustainably address alleviate the city’s dust problem," said Dr. Singh.
FahSai Mini has been installed at DTGO CampUs, the group's headquarters. The device filters 60,000 cubic meters of air each hour across an area about 50 meters in radius.
National Science Museum has ordered a FahSai Mini it aims to install by mid-February.
Dees Supreme is marketing the purification tower amid interest from several organizations.
RISC is a research lab set up by MQDC to find, develop, and share new ways to design and build for human and environmental well-being.
