22 November 2024, Tak – Dhanin Tawee Chearavanont Foundation, a non-profit supported by DTGO, has helped complete the "Light of Heart" maternity unit in Penkeling village at Umphang in Tak. 

The foundation provided 5.9 million baht to help bring medical care to underprivileged communities. 

"Light of Heart" has a delivery room, a waiting room, an emergency treatment room, an OPD room, a malaria clinic, and a doctor's room. The building will improve healthcare for 20,000 local people. 

Buddharaksa Foundation, another DTGO-backed non-profit, gathered personal contributions of 850,700 baht to equip the facility. 

DTGO operates under a concept of business-social integration to combine business success with societal contribution. Foundations backed by the group bring education and healthcare to underprivileged communities and protect natural ecosystems.
