UrbanAction, a DTGO unit dedicated to helping city communities improve their infrastructure, joined Bangkok Governor Mr. Chadchart Sitthipunt to plant trees in Chatuchak.
May 2023, Bangkok – UrbanAction, a DTGO unit dedicated to helping city communities improve their infrastructure, joined Bangkok Governor Mr. Chadchart Sitthipunt to plant trees in Chatuchak.
The activity for Pracha Ruam Jai 1 and Ruam Jai 2 communities also featured Charoen Pokphand Group (CP), represented by Mr. Narong Chearavanont, Senior Vice Chairman, as well as the Community Organization Development Institute (CODI) and Treasury Department.
Designed to add green areas to Prem Prachakon Canal, the event included an exhibition, a fair, and donations of bicycles, saplings, and a plant nursery.
UrbanAction and the Lad Prao boat community enterprise gave boat tours to canal-side communities.
The Prem Prachakon Canal community stands to gain from the development of tourism and road-rail-boat connectivity.
UrbanAction works with stakeholders to help them improve their neighborhoods, from housing to transport and commercial opportunities.
The team’s work has won recognitions including an “Excellence in CSR Project Award” from the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand.
